Wilson High School is a public school in Portland, Oregon. It has 1,227 students in grades 9-12.

Classes at Wilson can be challenging and there are many AP/honors classes available in science, math language and art. Wilson accepts 2 years of languages taken at the middle school level as one year for high school. The A/B schedule for Wilson students offers plenty of tutor time where students can meet with their teachers. There is also peer tutor time after school where students can get help from other students.

The teachers at Wilson are pretty good. There is a huge mix of old and new. The outlooks of the teachers make the classes exciting and unpredictable. Just like anywhere you get some great teachers who are laid back but you learn a lot from and some that simply suck at teaching. Each teacher has a unique teaching style which matches up with the diversity of the student population.

Wilson has a multitude of clubs and activities. It has many after-school options including 17 sports teams, 15 artistic activities and 20 clubs. The students are involved in many interesting career exploration activities and have opportunities to volunteer and/or participate with amazing local companies such as Nike and OHSU. There is something for everyone.

Students are very involved in school sports. Varsity football, basketball, soccer and volleyball games are well attended and parents devote time and effort to supporting their kids and the teams. School spirit is very prominent and because there is so many people involved in sports, many students attended the games.
